How much can I apply for?

Grants are available for up to $3,000.

Who completes the application?

The application form must be completed by you as an employee of a Z Retailer.

Is my information confidential?

Yes, your personal information will remain confidential. However, you’ll need to consent to the Trustees sharing the outcome of your application with your Retailer; or asking them for more information.

What if more information is needed?

The Trustees may contact you or your Retailer to request additional details while reviewing your application.

How long does it take?

No longer than 7 days. The Trustees will consider your application and make a decision as soon as possible.

Who Can Apply?

To apply for a grant, you must:

  • Be currently employed by a Z Retailer.

  • Have worked for a Z Retailer for at least 90 days.

  • Be directly facing unexpected and significant financial hardship caused by events or costs beyond your control.

  • Complete all questions in the ‘Required Information’ section of the application form.

  • Ask your Retailer to endorse your application before submitting it. (You don’t need to wait for their decision to submit your application, they’ll also provide input directly to the Trustees.)

  • Agree to the Trustees notifying your Retailer of the outcome of your application.

Before you apply, please make sure you have read the information above and if you are unsure about anything, please get in touch with us.

It’s important that you ensure you meet the eligibility criteria.

If you do, please complete the official Z Foundation Grant Application Form. Once submitted you will receive a confirmation email.

Be sure to speak with your Retailer, and ask them to support and endorse your application.

Make sure you have copies of relevant supporting documents, in either JPEG or PDF format (2MB file size limit). This may include quotes or estimates, reports or other background information. 

You’ll also need the exact date you started working for a Z retailer.
